Shipping for all UK mainland orders over £200 is free and will be dispatched via the Royal Mail Tracked 48 Service (other services are available at extra cost).
All UK orders over £500 also qualify for free courier shipping.
UK orders under £200 are charged at the following rates:
Royal Mail Tracked 48: £4.50
Royal Mail Tracked 24: £5.50
Royal Mail 24 Tracked and Signed For: £6.00
Royal Mail Next Day by 1pm: £12.00
DPD Next Working Day (Tracked) - Order Before 9:00am: £7.00
DPD Next Day, Saturdays (Tracked) - Order Before 9:00am: £12.00
Europe & Rest of World
As rates vary depending on item weight, size and your location, we’ve set up a handy postage calculator, which you can use prior to making a purchase.
To use the calculator, simply add any products you’re interested in to your basket. A pop-up will then appear on the left-hand side of the screen (it will fill the screen on a tablet or smartphone). Scroll down through this to fill in your country and postal/zip code, then select ‘Gather Shipping Rates’. You can go back and review this at any stage by clicking the shopping bag icon at the top right of the screen.
Collection in Person
All items are available for collection from our showroom or any of the exhibitions we attend (see our exhibitions list). If you’d like to collect your purchase in person, please select this option at checkout. Alternatively, if you’d like to collect from an exhibition, please specify this on the order – or feel free to call or email us.
At Ellis Clark Trains, we only stock items rated ‘excellent’ or better in both cosmetic and mechanical condition. We’re therefore happy to offer a 6-month mechanical warranty on all locomotives we sell, and this will be noted in the item’s description.
The 6-month warranty covers any running faults, whether electrical or mechanical (including any DCC faults). This is in addition to any other issues that may arise through no fault of your own.
It’s always best to contact us via phone or email if you have any issues with a product, so we can determine the best course of action with regard to a repair, replacement or refund.
