Our Showroom

While we sell most of our models online, we’ve stayed true to tradition by having a good old-fashioned model shop! We opened our Skipton showroom in 2018, and since then it’s become a popular haunt for both ‘regulars’ and long-distance visitors. So what awaits you when you step through the door?

Aside from most of our pre-owned items and an ever-changing display cabinet of ‘goodies’, the showroom is home to a respectable cache of models from all scales that never make it to the internet. It’s not viable for us to photograph and list everything on our website (there aren’t enough hours in the day!), so we keep a good many wagons, coaches and (sometimes) buildings for the shop, where they can be purchased for pocket-money prices. Just be aware that it’s very difficult to leave empty-handed…

Most of the models we manufacture are kept in our warehouse, but if you’d like to collect something in person – whether it be a Black 5, Presflo or any of our other in-house products – just let us know the day before your visit, and we’ll make sure it’s brought to the showroom for you. You’ll always receive a friendly welcome and the offer of a hot drink as you browse our wares.

The showroom is a particularly good place for those of you considering a move to O Gauge, as you can see and handle larger-scale models in the flesh – and hopefully realise that ‘upsizing’ is a lot more viable than you thought. We now stock a range of new ready-to-run locomotives covering the most popular smaller prototypes, and these represent the ideal starting point for new adventures in 7mm scale.

Our showroom is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm as well as 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. Please see our Contact page for a map, although note that we share our car park with other businesses as well as residential properties, so parking can be a little restricted at times. But as we’re just a few minutes’ walk from Skipton town centre and its many attractions, there are plenty of options nearby.
